Jesko Onken was born April 23rd, 1977 in Kiel, Germany.
He is an attorney at law and licensed in California as well as Germany (Rechtsanwalt). He is also co-founder and COO of a California based technology company and over the years held various executive and managerial positions with start-up companies. He understands the legal and business challenges his clients are facing.
In 2005 and 2006 he worked for Dresdner Kleinwort, a large European investment bank as a transaction manager with legal background. In this position he negotiated with clients and law firms from all over the world. As the transaction manager he was responsible for the timely completion and the legal aspects of the documentation for capital market transactions, including all relevant contracts and regulatory requirements.
Jesko is familiar with the U.S. market. He worked for the legal department of a Silicon Valley based biotechnology corporation on a variety of tasks in intellectual property, licensing and litigation. He permanently moved to the United States in January of 2007 where he established International Legal Management and his law office.
Work experience for a German law firm in Frankfurt (2004/2005) and the district court in Hanau (2003/2004) complete Jesko's curriculum vitae.
